My main role is care planning, assessment and review, which is a wonderfully satisfying role. I may be the first person you meet, as I visit service users and help to identify support needs. Together we will set up a care plan that meets these needs in a way that you would like, enabling you to live at home as safely as possible.
I coordinate provision of equipment, supporting independent living and advise on other local services that may be appropriate. One weekend a month I am the on call coordinator, so you may speak to me if you need to access our services out of office hours.
I am a local girl, having lived and gone to school in Ashtead. I have been a member of the Tendacare team for 17 years, originally joining as a care assistant having previously worked for Mole Valley Social Services. I have three grown up children and two grandchildren. I am a keen sportswoman enjoying running, cycling and swimming and my goal for 2017 is to complete a half Ironman Triathlon!
