I started work with Tendacare in 2010 on a part time basis as one of their care workers. I soon discovered I had been very lucky and they are a very good company to work for with person-centred values - everyone is important.
When an opportunity to extend my role became available I jumped at the chance. I now work in the office by day playing my part in the general day to day administration, though my particular responsibilities are invoicing and technology.
I still do visits some evenings and, outside of Tendacare, I enjoy 'relaxing' with my grandchildren, gardening and DIY.
